The field
The Pit is a tournament-style speedball field: 46 inflatable bunkers on artificial turf, laid out mirror-image so neither side has an edge.
Games are five-on-five and rarely last more than four minutes. Everything happens at once off the break, and the team that talks to each other wins.
We run league nights here on Fridays and reset the layout every spring. New players are welcome, but we brief them first and put them on teams with a few regulars.
Good to know
Short games of 2 to 5 minutes, many rounds per session
Flat turf and no mud, any shoes with grip work
Higher paint use, most players buy an extra bag
