The field
Hollow Woods opened in 2016 on eight acres of loblolly pines, with a dry creek bed through the middle and log bunkers built from the trees we had to take down.
Games here are longer and quieter. Teams start at opposite ends, scout through the pines and fight over the creek crossings. The best players move a lot and shoot a little.
Bring boots if it rained this week. The creek bed holds water for a day or two, and every group finds the muddiest spot in the first game.
